Sacred Heart Hospital on US 98 and Mack Bayou Rd in South Walton opened in January, 2003. The full-service hospital is on land donated by The St. Joe Co., and is associated with Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola. Hospital officials plan to expand the facility to 250 beds within the next 10 years. Every room in the hospital is private, each with a pullout daybed for family.
A medical office building is located on the south side of US 98 to the west of Sacred Heart and is used as physician office space. The phone number for the hospital is 850-278-3600.
